pumpkin spice pudding cookies


2 1/4 cups flour
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) jell-o pumpkin spice flavor instant pudding
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg. (12 oz.) baker's semi-sweet chocolate morsels


  1. preheat oven to 375°f.
  2. combine flour, dry pudding mix and baking soda until blended.
  3. beat butter, sugars and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended.
  4. add eggs; mix well. gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  5. stir in morsels.
  6. drop teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheets.
  7. bake 8–10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  8. cool on baking sheet 3 min.
  9. remove to wire racks; cool completely.
