nacho sliders


1 tablespoon oil
1 lb. 90% lean ground beef
1 packet of taco seasoning
1/3 cup chopped green onion
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup prepared guacamole
1/2 cup prepared pico de gallo or salsa
8 slider buns
1/4 cup pickled jalapenos for serving


  1. combine ground beef, 1/2 of the cheddar cheese, green onion, and taco seasoning.
  2. form 8 burger patties.
  3. heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. cook hamburger patties turning once until they are fully cooked (an internal temperature of 160°f is reached).
  5. in the last few minutes of cooking, top burgers with remaining cheddar cheese.
  6. to assemble sliders, place about 1 tablespoon of guacamole onto each slider bun.
  7. top with cooked burger patty.
  8. spoon pico de gallo/salsa over burger and place the top of the bun.
  9. serve with pickled jalapenos if desired.
